Who is the course for?
This course is designed for people wishing to enter the construction industry at craftsman level or those wishing to progress to higher level qualifications

What is the course about?
This course will help you to develop basic brickwork skills and includes health & safety, storing resources & materials, access platforms, working practices, setting out and slinging & signalling
*CC 101 Safe Working Practices
*CC 102 Information, Quantities and Communication with others 1
*CC 103 Building Methods and Construction Technology 1
*CC 114 Basic Blocklaying Skills
*CC 115 Basis Bricklaying Skills
*CC 116 Basic Cavity Walling
*CC 117 Contribute to Setting Out and Building Basic Masonry Structures up to Damp Course Level

Will I need anything else?
You will need to provide your own protective clothing and appropriate Text books

How long & often do I attend?
Approximately 3 days per week for 23 weeks = 345 GLH
Start date 19th January 2008
Mon, Tue, Wed am at Construction Skills Centre, Astmoor, Runcorn

How will I be assessed?
The course will be assessed through a variety of practical tasks and short assignments throughout the year
