*The Construction Diploma is a College based qualification and can lead to an NVQ. *In the workplace students normally need to have an NVQ to get a job. *Students can go onto a Construction Diploma level 2 or a National Vocational Qualification level 1 if they get a job.

Course Structure
In order to gain a full Construction Diploma Level 1 Brickwork these units will be studied; *Load and unload resources, *Contribute to erecting and dismantling working platforms, *Contribute to maintaining work relationships, *Prepare and mix materials, *Prepare components, *Position components to line, *Trade Maths, *Information Technology, *Tutorial, *Practical, *Theory, All assessments will take place within the college, Students must attend for all your timetabled hours. Students are expected to provide their own pen, pencil, scale ruler, calculator, eraser, steel toe-capped boots and overalls (if required).
