Course review:
The qualification enables the learner to create a suitable qualification that will suit their duties. All learners take the mandatory units and then select from the following to make up theh optionals - Maintenance Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Painting & Decoratiing,External Drainage, Tiling, Plastering, Roofing, Tiling Operations. Learners will be assessed in the workplace and produce a portfolio of evidence and be visited by an assessor.
This qualification allows learners to demonstrate competence in maintenance operations at a level required by the construction and the built environment industry. Learners can progress across the level and size of the construction and the built environment competence and knowledge qualifications and into other occupational areas such as team leading and management.
It is also the competence element of the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Construction Maintenance Operations which is also available.
