As a result, there is growing demand for professionals who understand the business aspects of running a company, building technology and the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) used in the project management of construction.
Why study our course?
If you have successfully completed an HND in Building Studies, you can top it up to a Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) accredited honours degree on this course.
You will learn how to effectively manage the construction process to meet client needs within external constraints. You will study the building cycle from inception to end of economic life including procurement, construction, design or property management, recycling and disposal. This is while balancing the requirements of clients, users and the community.

You will get to work in teams across professional disciplines in a way that reflects industry. You will learn about new techniques and approaches on day trips and field trips. There are also opportunities to apply knowledge through work-based learning.
Where it can take you
On graduation, you can go on to a career working for UK or global construction organisations concerned with the management and business of producing buildings.
