Contemporary Painting

This course focuses on the materiality of painting and examines the formal concerns of painting as a medium. A wide range of issues and the work of contemporary artists will be explored in relation to the students’ personal investigation and study. The course will include demonstrations, group discussions as well as creating a personal brief of research and investigation. All students will be required to share their ideas and present their projects at the final stage of their course.
