- The course focuses particularly on the Yorkshire Dales region but also introduces you to countryside and conservation issues of national and global interest
- The mechanisms and practical maintenance skills required in the countryside
- Land and woodland management
- Wildlife habitat conservation and ecology in both the local and national context
- Additional qualifications for example Use of Chainsaws, Brushwood Cutter ATVs (Quad Bikes)
- Essential Skills for Progression in English and Maths to support your basic education and career development
