Clinical Physiotherapy MSc (MS Ramaiah)

What I would highlight: Clinical Physiotherapy is a great course at Coventry. Members of staff are on hand whenever you need them. The level of group work can be daunting at first but it is extremely valuable and provides you with skills along the way that you didn't realise you were picking up, there are also some extremely high marks to be earnt if you give enough time and effort to it. You will be presented with three different cases of diseases based around the respiratory system, cardiovascular system along with a final neurophysiological section. You will be assessed for each. The first is summative and consists of a presentation, second is formative and a presentation along with a full scientific leaflet, finally a A1 poster presentation presented in an open area of the university to your tutors along with anyone else who choses to join such as the head of school or the dean. This module can be very enjoyable and fulfilling with physical proof at the end of our hard work. Marks and feedback are also release extremely quickly which is always a positive thing!

What I would highlight: I am enjoying it so far and I would class my experience as good. The course I'm doing is a very good course I think. I am completely satisfied at the moment. Lecturers are experienced in the industry and teach it well. The university has links to a number of companies in the industry so good links for placement opportunities.

What I would highlight: I'm in my first year and so far its been a great experience I have to say, starting from the tutors to the city life and everything I have to say its been a good experience. well, sometimes they organize and host career events giving students the opportunity to take advantage of any. its pretty much cool because they address most issues concerning the students although I don't get involved, the tutors are good. they dedicate enough time to enable students get better understanding

What I would highlight: The course itself was highly engaging and directional, especially for someone who wasn't exactly sure which career they wanted to go into. I've learned a lot and it has helped me to look at the world in a different way through some really great lecturers and opportunities. However, there have been issues with the teaching and although most of these situations were unforeseeable, it still sucked to have lectures that had to be covered last minute or seminars with no actual purpose. Overall though, I loved the course

What I would highlight: I would say that my experience has been positive and I have learned a lot. However, I also feel that the courses and their content could be structured better as I do not feel I have learned as much as I could have. I am however grateful for studying in such a modern university equipped with facilities that contribute to a comfortable learning environment. They provide advice on preparing a CV right through to providing mock interviews to provide feedback and improve prospects. They provide career fairs and employer talks so that students are aware what out there and can find more information. They provide several workshops to help develop soft skills such as leadership courses and communicating with confident body language etc. The practical tutorial/lab sessions within the networking lab and ethical hacking lab.

What I would highlight: Overall, it's been good. The work can get the best of you if you don't keep track of it but without the pressure of a lot of exams, it's easily managed. There aren't many issues with it. Placements are encouraged and skills are focused on.

Forensic Investigations BSc (Hons)

What I would highlight: The course is very broad and covers different modules ranging from forensic science, criminology, law and digital forensics. I would personally say it is a better alternative to forensic science unless you're certain this is the path you want to take, as it opens more doors in terms of job sector. The course is mainly coursework based. I am in second year and have had one proper exam and about 3-4 phase tests since the start of my course. It can be challenging at times but Coventry university provides books as part of the uni fee and lecturers are at your disposal as long as you email them to book a session. Another positive I would add is that the course is not exactly a popular one, which makes for extra attention when needed as well as help entering into sectors that are always hiring! Personally I really enjoy my course and my dissertation topic was quite interesting to choose considering the broad range of topics I had to choose from. If you're considering the course I would 100% say go for it.

What I would highlight: I have thoroughly enjoyed my time studying the Enterprise and Entrepreneurship degree as it has allowed me to gain a degree while starting a business and being allowed the freedom to do so. Apart from that, the degree content covers a wide range of topics from marketing, finances and legal all things needed to run a business. The university is amazing, many funding opportunities to enhance your business and academic life. It is very innovative and won lotsof awards and is number 15 in the U.K. And won uni of the year last year- why wouldn't you want to study at Coventry?

What I would highlight: Attending Coventry University has been a great choice! The content that is being taught in the Civil Engineering course is really enlighting. The various modules included thus far have really given me a good idea of what Civil Engineering Industry is about. All teaching sessions very well designed and organised. However, for most of the modules it requires a lot of extra work outside of class hours which can be really stressful at times.

What I would highlight: Coventry University offers a good education for middle learning level people such as me. And as I already fucking wrote engineering faculty is great here because Coventry has historical roots in engineering of Great Britain. Its engineering at its finest, because Coventry is historical engineering place. Some of societies are great such as Mechanical Eng one. I have attended several workshops and informative sessions for free. I would recommend Coventry with no hesitation.

What I would highlight: Very good, i tend to take part more on the academic side of things and having to fend for my self does cause some difficulties but overall the experience is a positive one and look forward to the years to come. Theres various workshops or events in a wide range of subjects e.g. job fairs, workshops on improving CV, opportunities for volunteering , a careers department. The course is of course accredited by the imeche organisation making it a distinguished course , lecturers have various styles of teaching which have their pros and cons but more often than not its advantageous to the student although with some lecturers i find i understood better if i went through the lecture at home. The course its self is very challenging (least in this first year) constantly striving to get the best out of you and provides sufficient support (maths/software workshops most days of the week to help if you are struggling. There's a wide range of societies to choose from, the competitive ones such as , football, rugby (league and union ) ,as well as others are part of the BUCS league making it difficult to break into the first team although they offer give it a go sessions where you can play for fun without the competitive aspect of it.

What I would highlight: My experience at Coventry University has surpassed my expectations. Superbly relevant , intellectually rigorous course content; very good facilities on uni; friendly staff, students and city mates; safe neighbourhood; and convenient location of stores. What more could one ask for? All modules are tailor-made to real-work situations. Lecturers are highly experienced, helpful, and challenge us to thing way outside the box. They are so helpful and approachable. Our class engaged them on an issue we needed resolved regarding one of our modules. With their guidance, we made a case that was decided favourably for our class. The academic staff is pretty flexible and they gladly meet you on request. There are counselling and support services for depressed students, mental breakdown, academic writing, among others. The whole community participates in cancer charity work, and periodically gets involved in activities to clean the city.

What I would highlight: I studied at Coventry University for less than a year, but the amount of kindness and nice people I have met makes up for all the new knowledge I have had to consume. If I had a choice to take my degree now, or continue on for two or three more years, I would stay, as a degree is worth nothing if you haven't had any life and uni experience. Because in the end, only one thing matters - to enjoy uni life at its fullest, thank you Coventry!

What I would highlight: The University of Coventry is a vibrant hub of life which, in all honesty, is the real thing that seems to keep Coventry alive. This city is run entirely by students which provides a real sense of community to the university experience. There are plenty of facilities for students and the library has tons of options for help regardless of your course. If you are looking for a wonderful uni experience, this is the place to be.

What I would highlight: The staff were really approachable and friendly, that is why the environment was so cozy. I also made really good friends during my course. My dissertation was carried out in a very modern facility, where I deposed a pipe. I also worked during one year with a company. That experience is invaluable. Thanks to that and to the university, I was able to get my first job.
