Aim This exciting 2 year course provides you with a broad range of practical skills relating to the creative and media industry. The core units give you the opportunity to develop your skills in art, design and media, advertising, graphics, textiles and photography.
Content
The course is made up of 6 principle learning units plus one specialist unit or additional AS Level. You will be involved with the fashion show and exhibition projects, visits and workshops. You will also get a chance to work with one of our design partners as part of work based projects.

Assessment is continuous throughout the course. All units are assessed and graded and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded. Two units are externally assessed.

Progression/career opportunities
This course provides an excellent grounding to move onto University Degrees or Foundation Degrees in a range of art and design subjects. See our Higher Education prospectus. This qualification could lead to careers in all areas of the creative and media industries.

Screening
Students will also be screened (in the College) and must achieve literacy and numeracy at the level appropriate to the course.
