What will I study?
This course aims to broaden the students understanding and skills in the Creative and Media Industries. Students will be introduced to at least six disciplines throughout the Diploma. These disciplines will be chosen by the college to suit the needs of the students on the course.

One year

Do I need any additional qualifications/ skills?
Students who do not already have a Maths, English or ICT qualification at Level 2 will be required to gain these qualifications as part of their Higher Diploma.

How will I be assessed?
The Higher Diploma combines practical work with theory and analysis. Students will be assessed on their ability to reflect on their own learning and to present their own work through a variety of forms including presenting a seminar, writing reports and keeping a reflective journal.

What can I do afterwards?
This course is suitable for students who wish to progress to Level 3 courses in the Creative and Media Sector.

Are there any additional costs involved?
Students will be expected to pay £20 at the start of the year towards necessary materials and visits. There are also potential costs for optional events and excursions that compliment the Higher Diploma.
