This is an intensive short course that explores alternative formats and styles of creative bookbinding structures. You will learn a mix of age-old traditional techniques combined with contemporary methods and skills for making books. During a series of practical demonstrations you will make sewn and non-sewn binding structures.

It is a hands-on, creative course where you will make at least five finished book structures, and you will be shown many examples of variants of these book structures. With your imagination, the possibilities are endless.

This course will be of particular interest to artists and designers who want to create books of their own work.
