Creative Media Production Extended Diploma Programme - Level 3

You’ll study the techniques and skills vital for progression into the creative media industry, including camera techniques, script writing and editing. You’ll learn to use AVID editing software which you’ll find is highly regarded by employers, giving you a head-start in the industry.

The Level 3 BTEC in Creative Media Production offers practical units combined with an extensive range of teaching and learning methods that enhance the learners’ self confidence. A range of disciplines are taught on the course in order to maximise learners’ skill base and improve employability. You will use professional software packages such as Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office and Photoshop. Learn by doing work based projects where you are required to research, plan and present a ‘live’ project. On the course you will study subjects such as ‘Studio Photography’, ‘Single Camera Techniques’ and ‘Speech Package’ to improve your knowledge and professionalism in Radio, Television, Photography and Journalism.
