Make the most of our interdisciplinary teaching by combining Criminology and Sociology.
By sharing methods, theories and interests, you’ll diversify your understanding of crime as a social construction as well as its relationships with class, gender, race and law. In the process, you develop your own critical and creative approaches.

With a Criminology and Sociology BA, you get the perfect training and knowledge for graduate careers in policing, welfare, social services, the prison service or youth justice.
You’ll gain skills in communication, critical thinking and data analysis. This means you can go into research and policy-related roles both in the UK and abroad.
And to help you apply for graduate schemes and jobs in the public, private and voluntary sectors, you can attend specialist career workshops and sessions at Sussex.
