Dance Teacher Course

The dance teacher is responsible for preparing students at various levels, taking into account the artistic aspect and the care of the body, on the different dance techniques: from classical dance (essential for the training of future professional dancers) to the most modern techniques. The dance teacher works in the design of teaching programs and in the conduct of the same. You work in dance schools, gyms and private structures that provide dance lessons for various reasons. The dance teacher must have a great passion and vocation, but also knowledge of the body and method. You must be able to teach everyone, children, men and women, looking for an appropriate and specific approach to users. Knowledge of anatomy is required, but also of pedagogy and work progression, because a good teacher must know exactly what a student will be able to do weeks later. Unfortunately in Italy there is no regulation on dance teachers. There are no mandatory certifications, not even constant updates to be followed, if not by voluntary choice.
