Depression Management - a distance learning course by BSY Research data indicates that bouts of depression are starting at increasingly early ages and that depression in childhood which was at one time practically unknown or at the very least unrecognised, is becoming an aspect of modern life. It would be ideal if therapists could not only treat but prevent depression in childhood especially when looking at the disturbing discovery that even mild manifestations of depression in a child can herald more severe episodes in later life. This course explores the treatment as well as prevention of depression.
