The university experience has been very positive so far. The teaching and modules are great, a varied range of visual communication through typography, publishing, website, posters etc. There are great opportunities for global experience with China and Amsterdam.

The course use to be very strong, it had structure and organisation. The teaching can be strong depending on the lecturer. One lecturer I praise hugely is Rob Tovey. He has structure, and keeps our knowledge up to date with current or trending lectures that are relevant to our module and learning. They really challenge you, and make you consider if you can apply the knowledge to your work, unlike the rest. Strongly consider Coventry University as a whole. Great one to ones with tutors.

I think that graphic design at Coventry University is my best choice in my life so far. My time at Coventry are being enjoyable. I feel that I'm doing something what I really love and my tutors help me to achieve my life goals and make my dreams come true. I can still improve my skills and develop myself. My lecturers are so cool! I'm really impressed that in couple of months my knowledge level increased so much studying graphic design. The best thing is that everything what we do prepares us to work in graphic design's field in the future. We get a lot of experience here and that is great! We have a lot of facilities on our university! We can choose from different printers, PCs or Macs. What is more we have a lot of different machines on FAH we can use on print workshops or typography workshops. Tutors are really helpful and they try to solve every our problem. We also have an opportunity to get a scholarship which is pretty good.

Incredible, met friends that will last my life time and got to take part in a high level of sport plus started my career as a product designer. Where I will end up in the future really has no limit, the university has helped me every step of my 4 years of study. My course had modules in all types of design which was peef ct for me. Also the university held a competition to win a 9 month product design placement which I won and now have 9 months work experience on my CV before I even graduated. Also the university have a Addvantage programme where you can pick and extra module to study for a term that's outside of your subject, I chose photography one year and have used the skills I picked up in all variations of work now.

I find Coventry a great University but some courses dont receive the same attention as others. Overall is a great university offering a lot of great services thinking about the students. The city life is the worse part, but if you want to be active you just have to explore what the city has to offer. The tutors are really nice and helpful making the lectures interesting and appealing. The university is investing in new buildings and offering new and better facilities for all courses. A lot of new buildings and technologies all over Coventry, as well as trips for all course with financial help.

I am happy that I chose Coventry university. I would like more trips to other cities or around Coventry as well. But the people are nice, most tutors are also. I like the environment. Tutors are extremely nice and they are trying to make the lectures as interesting as possible. As for the university facilities, in my opinion they are very good. Everything seems relatively new and proffesional. I don't have any experience about personal support , but the academic support it's pretty great. There is help offered with whatever you might need, with essays, lectures or any other work.

So far experience has been mixed. the most important thing to me is the course and this has been good to a point. Most of the modules are engaging and teach a variety of skills and the majority of the tutors are helpful and have great amounts of knowledge of the industry. however there hes been some disappointments. The course currently does not offer training in software, which is a critical skill in order to get a job in practice. The tutors are aware of this but the current expectation is to teach this to ourselves. The university also has failed to fulfill is promise in the 'no hidden extras' promise advertised when I joined the university as this year we are expected to make a significant contribution towards our compulsory trip which last year was virtually free. There was also a reduction in the quality and volume of equipment provided this year in comparison to previous years. So far there has been no explanation provided for this change and has left me and fellow students disappointed that we have been mislead. We are also unhappy about how the university does not include students in major decisions . The biggest being the courses move from the engineering faculty to the arts and humanities without warning just before the course started. The first we heard of it was the day we arrived! This was a move that resulted in our course becoming neglected and isolated from key facilities such as computer suits. We are also isolated geographically as our studio/ lecture space is still in an engineering building.

My experience at Coventry has been great. I think this is a very interesting university, fully modernised teaching methods and approach, 24x7 full equipped library, access to all major computing softwares. The tutors encourage us to contact them, regular meeting for groups and individuals are set up to check on our progress and to allow us to provide feedback on any changes to the course we may prefer. However any support required with technical faults, such as with moodle or emails, can take longer to resolve as the tech team are slow at replying to your issues and concerns. It's more likely to be sorted if you approach specific personel with your problem as emails are often pushed to one side.

Coventry University is excellent with great facilities, staff and work. The city itself is small with the outskirts being quite rough but the university is in the nicest area with clean safe streets. many of the modules are directly involved in improving your technical skills and giving you a wide range of ability's. The University provides job fairs with major companies so that you can interact with potential employers. There is a large amount of support for internship placements and also post graduate jobs for the students. Lecturers are all very high-skilled, they cover a broad range of topics in first year before becoming more specific to your area of interest by third year. Many of of my lectures were on theory but there are modules that have lots of practical work interspersed within the lectures.
