Diploma in Education and Training (formerly known as DTTLS) Certificate in Education (Pre-service)

The full-time route starts with an intensive month long block followed by one afternoon and evening per week. You will also be on placement for three days per week. On the part-time route, you will attend one afternoon and evening per week and be on placement at least one day per week. Those who wish to teach Literacy, ESOL, Numeracy or disabled learners can also achieve a Specialist Diploma in their subject. You will be able to gain QTLS (Qualified Teacher, Learning and Skills) status once you have completed with the Institute for Learning (IFL).
