Is this course right for me?

This 15 week part-time Certificate in Management & Leadership is one of a series of progressive qualifications offered by the Chartered Institute of Management. This course will equip you to develop effective and efficient operational management at work.

What will I be learning?

Topics studied on the course will include resource planning, managing information, recruitment & selection, team building and leaadership skills. You will produce work based asseignments for each unit studied.

How will I learn?

All tutors on the programme have experience in commercial business roles which makes the topics covered relevant to the workplace. Lessons are a series of workshops, taught sessions, external events, practical tasks and guest speakers. You will also be nominated a personal tutor and will have allocated time with the tutor every week as part of the programme.

This is a nationally recognised qualification, ideal for those aspiring to a career in management. You will need to purchase recommended books for this course.

What can I do afterwards?

You could progress to the Diploma Level 5 (previously Level 4) in Management at South Devon College
