Overview
This more specialised course will further develop skills in the effects of gravity on water and cold/heat and pressure. This course is equally helpful to those new to Plumbing or already working in industry. In addition to further development of your Health and Safety skills, you will focus on Cold, Hot and Central Heating systems before choosing whether to progress into Gas or Renewable pathways at a higher level.

Entry Requirements
Level 1 Plumbing Foundation and a minimum of 2 GCSE’s grade C or above including mathematics and / or English Language or English Literature are required to undertake this course.

Course Duration
One year, full time.

Course Assessment
The Level 2 Plumbing Foundation requires you to complete centre based knowledge and practical assessments designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to progress to L3 Plumbing Foundation or Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.

Progression
Successful completion of this qualification will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills required for progression to complete either the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating or the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Heating.
