This is a 2-year course, which prepares you to work as a counselling practitioner within an agency. You will study. An Integrative theoretical model. Ethical practice. Specialist issues. Group training supervision. Counselling skills practice. Ongoing Process group. There are workshops on cultural diversity, difference and anti-discriminatory practice. You will continue to work in small groups for skills practice and will be required to complete 100 hours of externally supervised counselling client hours within an agency setting. You will be expected to undertake 60 hours of personal counselling during the 2-year course with a therapist who works within the course core model.
