What's it all about?:
This half day specialised risk assessment course provides theoretical knowledge and practical experience in compliance with the Display Screen Equipment Regulations.

Progression:
This course gives you the skills required to carry out display screen equipment workstation risk assessments in their workplace in order to ensure compliance with the health and safety (display screen equipment) regulations.

Entry Requirements:
In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need one of the following:
• four GCSEs at grades D-F (including English and maths)
• a BTEC foundation diploma in a related subject
• an NVQ Level 1/technical certificate in a related subject
• successful completion of the Gateway/Newstart course
• successful completion of the E2E/Prince's Trust course
• equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.

In addition, candidates should have attended the one day risk assessment course or have a good understanding of risk assessment.

The course covers the legal requirements, ergonomics and the principles and techniques of DSE workstation risk assessment.
