I recently attended the Mental Health First Aid course with Julie at HR Champions.
This was an interactive online course spanning two days. I found the course very useful, particularly with the practical role-play exercises to consider the various scenarios involving a conversation about mental health. Since completing the course and using the skills learnt back in my workplace, I found that the ‘CARE’ model has been especially helpful as it has enabled me to follow a structured conversation and achieve effective signposting to specialist agencies which the individual person can follow up on.
Thanks to Julie and the team for a practical and insightful training course, I feel I gained a lot of knowledge.

I have done NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care. Presently I am doing degree in Health and Social care.I have done your online Course. It was great and I have truly delighted in it. Through this course I have more learning how to give powerful care to elderly and simple-minded individuals and upgrade autonomous living with arrangements and techniques..

It was an eye opening experience. It helped me understand the research theory, steps needed to conduct a research, good practice and ethics involved. Different methodology and analysis of data using variety of statistical techniques. I would hope to advance to masters degree in research when its available. Thanks
