  • This course was fantastic and very helpfull.. i feel i have gained a good knowledge of the security industry and feel very confident in the type of work i shall now be doing.... this was a very clear and easy to understand course.. my advice is if that you r looking to do a course within the security industry then u SHOULD contact the guys at train2protect.. overall 10 out of 10 for there services.. thanx guys..

What I would highlight: This course is brillient it shows you stuff to help protect yourself and and new ways of greeting and helping people find what there looking for it builds your confidence up and i will be using what i hav learnt to get a job of provide people with a safer enviroment

An experienced Search Advisor and former Military Bomb Disposal Officer. Anthony served with the Royal Engineers for 25 years and completed his service as the Senior Military Instructor at the National Search Centre. A qualified DfT approved Aviation Security instructor, Anthony is a council member for the Institute of Munitions Clearance and Search Engineers (IMCSE). Anthony was instrumental in the development of VQ's for Search and Security Search.

Course programme

This 4 day Level 2 Edexcel Certificate in Door Supervision (QCF) course meets the new (2010) requirements of the SIA for Door supervisor licensing purposes.

Consisting of 4 Units:

Unit 1 Working in the Private Security Industry
Unit 2 Working as a Door Supervisor
Unit 3 Communication and Conflict Management
Unit 4 Physical Intervention

The course is accredited by Edexcel, successful completion of all 4 units and associated exams (Practical and Theory) leads to The Edexcel Level 2 BTEC Award in Door Supervision and the new Physical Intervention Award as required by the new (2010) SIA licensing requirements.
