Course programme

A course to develop your drawing skills, exploring:
- how to look and draw from observation
- the use of line and gesture
- developing a drawing from sketches
- composition and tone.

Using a variety of techniques designed to help you break out of old habits and loosen up. Practical work will involve drawing from observation, using a variety of materials including charcoal, chalk and ink. There will also be demonstrations, group discussions, one-to-one tutoring, and handouts regarding art walks, open studios and exhibitions.
