Following several years working in high end fashion glossy magazines, Arianna then spent time using her skills in the costume department of some well known films including Bridget Jones Diary 2 and Harry Potter. Having also completed a BA degree in Historical Costume Construction, Arianna now spends much of her time creating bespoke wedding dresses and headwear. She has an undeniable passion and love for costume, fashion and her craft.

Course runs for two 3 hour sessions held over two consecutive weeks.
From zero to chic in just two weeks! In just two evening sessions you'll learn the ins and outs of a commercial pattern with this stylish shift dress.
Areas we cover in this class include; working off a pattern, laying out a pattern efficiently, pattern cutting, pinning and cutting fabric, sewing seams, basic overlocking, inserting a zip, attaching hook and eye fasteners and hemming.
You will need to bring along your own choice of fabric. Measurements will be emailed to you upon booking. All other equipment is provided.
Basic machine knowledge required or completion of any one of our Beginners Classes is all you need to prepare for this class.
