History

Originally an Agricultural Training Board training group East Kent Training had to become self sufficient in the 90s when Training Boards were disbanded. Many customers remain loyal from thoise times, so our customer base is still predominantly in agriculture, landbased or rural industries, but many of our courses suit other industries so clients also include local authorities, MOD, factories and distributors.

Advantages of studying here

We are small so personal attention is guaranteed, however we have a huge product portfolio of courses on offer through our network of providers and trainers so we can source training for you without your have to wade through the phonebook or google searches. We aim to provide exceptional customer service from the first enquiry through to certificate issue, through to sending reminders if and when renewals are due.

Areas of specialisation

Pesticides Application, Chainsaw, Pest Control, Health and Safety, Supervisory and Management, Forklift, Plant (not CITB), Landscape/Machinery, Tractors, First Aid

Description

Our main purpose is to provide short training courses that are individually designed to be flexible to the specific requirements of our clients. Our courses offer individuals and companies alike, the opportunity to train at a time to suit them. We understand the problems faced by businesses when it comes to fitting a staff training programme into an already pressured workload and we do our very best to help you achieve your goals without too much interruption to your busy schedule. We can provide training on your site, or alternatively at venues local to the participants, saving you time and money on travel and accommodation costs.
We are an approved centre with Lantra Awards offering a range of training only, or assessed courses, throughout Kent and the South East. Our aim is to help and advise people to ensure courses meet their vocational and legislative requirements. Where applicable, e.g. CIEH or NPTC, we also ensure the course through to assessment arrangements are as seamless and painless as possible.
