Intermediate Food Hygiene
This intermediate level course is designed for those working in all food related businesses at supervisory & management level.
This course will gain you a level 2 qualification focusing on good practice and procedures. The programme covers a defined syllabus.
A reasonable level of writing and comprehension ability is necessary to be successful in the standard written exam.
This is a 3 day course plus a 2 hour examination.
Topics Covered include:
- How to play an active part in monitoring food hygiene standards
- Being involved in training activities, especially on job training
- How to be equipped to effectively supervise food handlers on hygiene issues
- How to carry out hygiene audits
- Being able to assist in hazard analysis programmes
- Being able to help in the formulation and writing of hygiene policies, instructions etc.
