This qualification is particularly suitable for the following groups of learners:

• The Edexcel Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF): for those who want to know about internal quality assurance, for example managers or those new to quality assurance and verification.
• The Edexcel Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF): for those who internally quality assures assessors and assessment, but who do not manage the centre or other internal quality assures.
• The Edexcel Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF): for those who have wider quality assurance responsibilities and manage others, develop policies or manage External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits.
