Course programme

This Foundation Degree is for teachers and others who work in the FE and Skills Sector, for example as trainers, learning support assistants, personal and pastoral tutors, managers and advice and guidance staff, who want to engage in a higher level of study to gain a broader and deeper perspective on their work and their learners. It aims to enable you to become more effective, critical and thoughtful members of the wider workforce across the learning and skills sector. The course offers six modules to accumulate credit for a full Foundation Degree in Education and Training: 240 credits (120 at level 4 and 120 at level 5). Successful completion can lead to progression to the BA Lifelong Learning/BA Education Professional Learning and Community Engagement.
