EFFECTIVE COACHING SKILLS
Course Objective: coaching is becoming increasingly recognised as a key management competence, and an essential skill for effectively managing & developing team members.

Led by one of the coaching profession’s key players, this intensive course provides a tried and tested framework and suite of skills to enable participants to coach their teams with flexibility and confidence.

The course can be enhanced by allowing extra time for each participant to experience their own one-to-one coaching session.

Except in the case of Open Courses, all Phoenix workshops are tailored on demand, which means that we will develop the final agenda with you to deliver exactly the training you want, at the level you need, within the timeframe you decide.

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Differentiate between directive and facilitative forms of coaching and be able to explain appropriate use for each

  • Describe a simple and effective structure for conducting coaching
