Attendance required for one day per week

Who the Course is For:
For students who have achieved a credit of 2 units in the C&G 2330 year1 and wish to extend their knowledge and understanding of the electricians work.
Assessment:
The course requires submission one main assignment (set theory report and practical tests - 10 hour duration), plus successful completion of 2 online unit tests.
Course Leads To:
The City & Guilds 2330 Level2 certificate and progression to C&G 2330 Level3.
NOTE: for full certification with the JIB candidates MUST complete Level3 technical and NVQ (vocational) qualifications. NVQ qualifications requires students to be employed by/working with an Electrical Contractor.

C&G 2330 Year1 - 2 passing grades in: Science and Health & Safety units Lv2.
Content:
All our courses are designed to cover the full range of topics and tasks as laid down by the awarding body in response to industry requirements. All practical activities are carried out within out start of the art workshops with theory work being a mix of classroom and assignment activities. The topics include:
Science of electrical engineering and provides an in depth knowledge of the wiring regulations (BS7671:June 2001).
The science topics cover electromagnetism and electric motors, alternators and other devices.
Illumination and types of lighting, AC theory, Cable sizing and Testing.
Regulations are thoroughly investigated and circuit parameters are produced from IEE tables.
