City College supply all technical equipment required to complete the course. All learners are required to supply their own work shoes/boots suitable for workshop activities and adequate paper, pens, rulers, calculators etc to enable theory work to be transcribed.

Assessment:
Course assessment is ongoing throughout in order to monitor progress and understanding. Regular one-to-one interviews will take place during each term to check progress and establish if any further assistance needs be applied to help any learner. Final assessment: Each of the four units listed in course content is assessed by an on line multi choice test. There are also two practical assessments which take place in the work shop over a two day period.
