What will I learn?

You will learn about: working effectively and safely in an electrotechnical environment; how to deal with the principles of electrotechnical installation; engineering applications; and the principles of installation in building and structures

How will I be assessed?

Students are assessed using a mixture of assignments, online multiple-choice question papers and practical activities

What may it lead to?

You can progress to the Level 3 course in Building & Construction at Canterbury College

Entry Requirements

You should either have a Level 1 Building qualification or 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (including English, Maths and Science) Entry on the course is subject to an interview

This qualification lead onto higher courses and, ultimately, to a job as an electrician, electrical technician or electrical engineer There is no set work experience on the course, although students are encouraged to source their own work experience
