OVERVIEW
This 1 day course has been designed to meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work Regulations 1981. It has been accredited by the Health & Safety Executive as an approved course under the regulations to give those away from the workplace the necessary skills in Casualty Care and Emergency Handling.
COURSE CONTENTT
he course has been designed as per the HSE Guidelines but may be tailored to suit the needs of the Organisation.

Responsibilities of the First Aider
Basic Life Support
The Unconscious Casualty
Dealing with Wounds
Fractures, Sprains and Strains
Burns
Bandaging and Patient Handling

)CERTIFICATION
The Course is assessed by Written Examination and Practical Skills Assessment. Successful students will be issued a HSE Appointed Persons Certificate.
