What will I learn?

This course covers: mechanical and electrical science, engineering information, workplace practices, mechanical technology, electronic circuitry and CAD It also covers an introduction to welding, and functional skills

How will I be assessed?

You will complete a personal portfolio, undertake online tests and carry out observed tasks, along with developing an extended project throughout the year You will also cover employability skills & personal development

You can progress into Higher Education, such as Mechanical Engineering HNC, paid employment or Apprenticeships

Entry Requirements

You will have either 4 GCSEs at C (including Maths at B and English at C), a Level 2 Diploma (Merit) or an equivalent qualification Entry onto the course is subject to an interview
