Entry Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies

Entry Requirements
Applicants must have some relevant experience in this area and/or a background where they are using their communication skills on a day to day basis. All applicants will be interviewed by tutors prior to admission. Acceptance onto the course will depend on a successful interview.

Special Features
There is an emphasis on the course of practical role play. 90% attendance is a mandatory part of the course.

Assessment Methods
Assessment will be by the completion of a personal learning record; this will be continuously assessed throughout the course. As well as the Personal Learning Record there will be a practical skills assessment.
