Course programme
After the initial euphoria of gaining a promotion, many supervisors or managers find themselves struggling to cope with the demands of their new role and are all too often left to sink or swim. This is detrimental not only to the performance of the manager, but also to the performance of team members and the organisation as a whole. This highly practical two day course is intended primarily for new or recently appointed managers; it also serves as a valuable refresher for more experienced managers. Participants will benefit from increasing their skills and confidence when dealing with a range of people management issues. It provides the opportunity to reflect on styles and approaches along with a range of tools and techniques to put into practice in the workplace.
