These qualifications are designed for first line managers and supervisors working in the facilities management environment. They support a range of operations including building maintenance, catering, reception and security. The key aspects of any facilities management role are monitoring facilities, developing relationships with colleagues and other parties and ensuring that health and safety are maintained. Learners completing the Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Facilities Management could progress to generic management qualifications such as the Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management (QCF). Suitable for: Suitable for all learners over 16 years od age - can be taken as a stand alone qualification or as an Advanced or Adult Apprenticeship. The qualification will enable learners to demonstrate their competence in the area of Facilities Management - supervisors & first line managers who support a range of operational aspects such as reception, buildings, catering and security etc.

Course review:

To achieve the Level 3 Award in Facilities Management Practice (QCF) learners must achieve a minimum of 6 credits. Learners must achieve one mandatory unit. No credits need to be achieved from the optional units group but a maximum of six credits can be achieved to a maximum credit value of 12 for the qualifications.
