FdA Event Management with Hospitality

Course summary
Overview
If you want to work in the events sector – either working for a company or starting your own business – this course will teach you how to organise events with a particular focus on the hospitality provision. On successful completion you can go on to the BA (Hons) Event Management with Hospitality top-up degree.
We take advantage of our London location, giving you the opportunity to attend high-profile events and a variety of venues to gain exposure to the industry in action. As well as live event projects, you’ll learn through practical teaching such as case studies and team projects, to understand the fundamentals of event management.
In addition, you will complete a work placement during your studies that will allow you to put theory into practice. This takes place at the end of your second year, and we will support you with finding a placement either in the UK or overseas.
Career and study progression
With a core understanding of the intricacies of event management combined with hospitality, and exposure to an array of events across London, you will gain transferable skills for a range of careers in international or UK events management.
On successful completion you will be able to progress on to our BA (Hons) Event Management with Hospitality top-up degree.
