All trainees must be over 16 and in reasonable health.
Some written work - basic literacy skills are required to enable candidates to deal with accident reporting procedures and record keeping.

Successful completion of this course will result in a Duchy College (HSE registered assessment centre) certificate of Attendance.
Validity
Currently valid for 3 years then retake a 2 day refresher course with assessment prior to expiry of previous certificate.

More Info
This course involves some "homework" - both written and practical.
Casual clothing, ladies may prefer to wear trousers. Practical work involves simulations of the unconscious casualty.
