This course is a combination of distance learning and classroom (blended learning) so you will be given all the workbooks you need and a fully interactive CD Rom to support your studies. It is estimated that this course should be completed in 6-8 weeks.

Many clubs require their fitness instructing staff to have the ability to teach exercise classes such as spinning or circuits so for a more rounded course you should consider the Professional Fitness Instructor. This would give you additional CPD credits such as Group Studio Cycling, Core Stability or Circuits Solutions.

If you already have work experience in a gym or have a qualification that is not nationally recognised, you may be more suited to our Fast Track Fitness Instructor Course.

This is the order we suggest you complete the modules in although we advise you book your assessment for Exercise and Fitness Knowledge level 2 after the Gym Instructing module.
Exercise and Fitness Knowledge Level 2
This is a distance learning module supported by workbooks and a fully interactive CD Rom which takes approximately 40 hours to complete.

Gym Instructing
