Kick Start your Flash Skills. Use Adobe's Flash Professional to design engaging animated and video content for your web pages. This intensive one-day course is designed to give you core Flash Professional skills allowing you to create content such as animated banner ads and Flash video. It will also consider good practise in terms of Flash content design, ensuring efficient playback of your content.

By the end of the course, using practical hands-on tuition, you will have an understanding of the following features and techniques:

• Flash Player– understand how Flash content is delivered to web browsers via the Flash Player
• SWF Files – see how to publish SWF files for use in the Flash Player from Flash Professional
• Flash Drawing Tools – see how to use Flash Professional's vector based drawing tools
• Import Graphics – learn how to import and manipulate graphics such as JPG, GIF and PNGs
• Photoshop and Illustrator Integration – see how Photoshop and Illustrator files can be used as the basis of your Flash design
• Symbols and Movieclips – learn how to create reusable content in the form of Movieclip symbols to produce efficient Flash files
• Timeline – learn how frames and keyframes are used to define a Flash movie's timeline.
• Animation- learn how to quickly animate objects in Flash Professional using Motion Tweening
• Motion Presets - learn how to apply motion presets and learn how create your own.
• Shape Tween – learn how to shape tween. Consider when and where to use a Shape Tween in your Flash movie
• Library – understand the importance of the Flash library. Create and duplicate symbols. Learn how to move symbols between movies.
• Animated Text – understand how text can be manipulated and animated.
• Understanding ActionScript – gain an understanding of how more complex Flash content is created with ActionScript code
• Links – see how Flash content can be made to link to other web content using ActionScript Code Snippets
• Flash and Dreamweaver – learn how to add Flash content into your web pages with Adobe Dreamweaver
• Import Video Clips - learn how to import video clips and create F4V and FLV files. Use the FLVplayback component.
• Publish Settings – learn how to export your Flash movie to the web.
