What is the European Computer Driving Licence course?
The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is an internationally recognised qualification and will confirm to employers that you have a good working knowledge of computers and an up-to-date qualification.

ECDL Extra provides the natural progression for ECDL Essentials candidates to allow them to complete their full ECDL or can be offered as a stand-alone product. It provides Level 2 coverage of the popular office applications

It is essential that you know how to use the mouse efficiently and have a good knowledge of the keyboard or have completed an introductory computer course before enrolling.

NB An interview is required before you can enrol on this course

Teaching and Learning
This course is not tutor led, students work in their own time either at work/home or at College. You are allocated a learning tutor who is there to offer support either by email, phone or in person if you choose to work at College, where you will have use of a computer

Assessment details
The four on-line assessment units can be taken in any order to suit you. To gain the qualification you must pass all the assessments.

Costs:
Price on application (includes 10 hours of learning and exam invigilation £50, £55 tests.)

Extra costs:
Re-sits £11 per unit, writing materials, and USB Memory Stick, course book approximately £20 which covers Part 1 & Part 2
