What will the course involve?
A CIEH qualified instructor will deliver the course within the college or can visit your workplace. Candidates are assessed by objective tests of 30 multiple-choice questions.
Course Content
Legislation, food safety hazards, temperature control, refrigeration, chilling and cold holding, cooking, hot handling and reheating. Food handling principles of safe food storage, cleaning food premises and equipment.

You will be able to progress onto the Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering
