Foundation Degree Dairy Herd Management
Introduction
Reaseheath has a national reputation for its delivery of quality training within the specialist field of dairy herd management. Ideally situated in the premier dairy county of Cheshire, we are proud of our long established partnership with the onsite Genus MOET herd.
Our Foundation Degree and HNC courses are as flexible as possible to fit around the farming week. If you choose the full time programme, you will attend college on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, allowing you time to work. If you are in full-time employment, the part-time option of one day a week may suit you better.
Both courses include practical opportunities such as foot trimming, veterinary medicine training and and on-farm practical demonstrations.
You will also have the opportunity to go on study tours in the UK and abroad.
Course Structure
The Foundation Degree is made up of 16 modules and the HNC/CIHE has 10 modules (*HNC/CIHE modules). Individual modules can be studied for Continuing Professional Development.
