About this course

A recognised Childcare Qualification at level 3, for example, Diploma in Childcare and Education, Btec National Diploma in Early Years, NVQ 3 in Early Years Childcare and education or equivalent.
Mature students without formal qualifications but with relevant knowledge and experience will be considered.

Course Content
The course comprises of twelve modules that include the study of childrens development and learning, aspects related to the roles and responsibilities of the childcare worker and becoming a reflective practitioner.
Study is closely linked to work practice and therefore working with children is essential.

Fees are paid to Bolton University and include registration and tuition fees over the length of the course. Fees may be reduced or waived if the student is in receipt of a recognised means-tested benefit (proof of benefit status will be required). All quotations, including remissions and waivers, apply only to students who have been resident in England or the EU for the last three years. You may be able to get help with paying for course fees, including paying for your course in instalments.

You will study 2 modules each term but in additon you will spend 4-5 hours a week reading around the subject. This might increase when working on assignments.
