Foundation Degree Mixed Farming

Introduction
As the regional centre for broader based agricultural education, our mixed farming courses cover a wide range of farming practices and reflect the latest changes within the industry. Designed in consultation with local farmers, our mixed farming courses are flexible so that you can continue to work while adding to your knowledge, understanding and experience.

For the full-time Foundation Degree you will come into college for three days a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For the part-time HNC/CIHE option, you will attend one day a week.

Both courses include practical opportunities such as sprayer training and chainsaw use. You will also have the opportunity to go on study tours in the UK and abroad.
