Content / Overview:
If you want to broaden your knowledge of France, develop your communication skills and enhance your employability, then French is for you. The course explores French contemporary society and culture, and extends your language skills to a high level. By the end of the course, you will be able to communicate effectively and confidently in the language. Throughout the course, French is used in debate, in paired work and in presentations. IT is used for research and for the presentation of written and spoken work and our language laboratory will help to develop your listening and pronunciation. We encourage students to participate in student conferences in London and to visit France to practise the language. The course culminates in four assessed units testing listening, speaking, reading and writing. Our past French results are excellent and many students choose French as part of their degree.

Four assessed units in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Exam.

Degrees or joint degrees in French or linguistics.
