Course programme

Based on authentic material such as articles or recordings and topics such as the environment, employment, entertainment. You will also learn and practice complex grammar as well as varied functions used to express opinions, feelings and attitudes.

The course is based on the communicative approach: - active students’ interaction - emphasis on speaking and listening skills - pair and group work - role plays - use of realia, pictures and authentic material - use of audio-visual techniques when appropriate Please note, students are expected to participate in oral classroom activities and to do some homework as and when required.

Other French 4 or 5 courses, depending on level. Please ask your tutor for advice. If you wish to carry on with an exam course in September, we have a 4 weeks taster for DALF C1 starting in June just after this course finishes. (LBF09 Introduction to the DALF).
