Course Description:

This course is for those students who have no knowledge of the language and would like to learn basic French.
At the end of the course, you should be able to read, write and understand speak basic language in a variety of everyday communicative situations.
Youll be able to get by in French while travelling in a French speaking country.
Topic areas may include Personal Identification, Family, Food and Drink, Directions, amongst many others topics.
You will be introduced to basic grammatical rules and gain an insight into the culture and customs of the country of the language.

PROGRESSION After completion of this course, you will be able to progress to French 2nd year.
