About this course
The Fresh Start Programme is aimed at students who:- · want to come to college and take up the opportunity of improving key skills · may achieve very low grades at GCSE · may achieve only a few grades at GCSE · have missed a lot of study for one reason or another; and · may not be able to cope with the demands of GNVQ Foundation or Intermediate Programmes

Progression opportunities:
Successful completion will open up opportunities to move on to a one year full-time Intermediate Vocational Course or GCSE course or employment.

Most full-time students do not have to pay for their course. We may also be able to help you with some of the extra costs associated with college, eg travel, childcare, equipment, books etc. In addition, if you have just left school, you may be eligible for an Educational Maintenance Allowance.
